Using research for PR and to drive policy change: ThredUp’s retail report
Earlier this month, thredUp — a leading online resale platform for women’s and kids’ apparel, shoes and accessories — released its 2021 Resale Report, a comprehensive study of the US secondhand market. It’s a great example for how a leading climate tech brand uses research and data to both generate media coverage (a quick Google news search yields 100s of results), position itself as a leader in circular economy, and drive policy change.
