Thank you for your loyal readership of Tofu in 2021, and as an active member of our Slack community! And welcome new readers and members.
Tofu was born when we (yours truly, your authors Melanie Adamson and Bettina Grab at Alder & Co.) started webinars for climate tech marketers in early 2021. Instead of the expected 25 attendees, more than 150 (!) people signed up for our first webinar on climate tech marketing trends.
It became clear that while we all share the same mission (to use marketing and storytelling to make climate tech universal and ultimately save the planet), many of us were feeling lost and alone, often being the sole marketer at our organization and lacking a community.
So we built one – Tofu! – this bi-weekly Substack newsletter and an active Slack community.
By joining Tofu, our readers…
learn from in-depth, useful content in the newsletter and directly from our Slack community
find their tribe and hang out with like-minded marketers and marketing-hat-wearing founders and salespeople
get feedback and advice on their questions and challenges
secure their next job in climate tech marketing
source new team members, freelancers and agency partners.
Five months, twelve newsletters, and 50+ articles later, our community has grown to more than 300 subscribers and half of those have joined our Slack channel, too.
Our announcement: Tofu is going paid on February 10.
Don’t worry, most of our content will remain free. We’ve been working on some new ideas to make the community even more valuable. Click the button below to support us and read on to learn more about our plans.
