It makes sense when you think about it.
Marketing directly is needed, but no one knows you. It takes time to develop brand awareness and enough trust to want to do business with you. Time you likely don’t have the runway for.
Partner marketing is often seen as an ideal, but potential partners don’t know you either, so many see it as a lost cause. However, the reality is that you need to find a way to make it happen because partners are one of the quickest ways to grow.
I have found that even the largest organizations are potential partners for startups. You just need to find what value you bring to them.
